Day Medical Billing
Information
Available Services:
- Filing of medical claims.
- This includes Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE/CHAMPUS,
and all private insurance.
- Patient statement billing.
- This includes sending statements out to patients
verifying what they owe, whether they owe anything that insurance did
not cover or confirming that their insurance covered everything and
everything in between.
- Dialogue with patients regarding accounts.
- If any patient has a question regarding their
account (such as verifying that their account is current or they have a
question on why they may owe a certain amount of the bill instead of
their insurance), they may contact me.
- Verification of EOB (Explanation of Benefits) with
original claim forms for accuracy.
- When the insurance company sends out the EOB, I
will offer to review the EOB and compare it to the original claim sent
it to ensure that everything is correct. If any issues arise with the
EOB compared to the original claim, I will contact the insurance company
review the situation and ensure that accurate payment is made.
- Regular meetings to review the account.
- These meetings can be conducted as often as you
would like (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.). These meetings would
cover claims filed and paid since the last meeting, what had to be
written off, what was paid by insurance, and what was paid by patients
among other topics.
- Fully electronic capable.
- Paper claims may take days to be delivered and
there is no proof given that the claim was received. On top of that,
the insurance company must then enter the information into a computer
(digitize the claim) and then process the claim.
- When a claim is sent electronically, it is
received instantly and is already digitized. Also, processing begins
immediately and one can easily check that the claim has been received
